ASD and ADHD Assessments

I offer the following assessments online or face to face:

ADHD

An ADHD assessment involves an interview with the client and a caregiver from infancy, preferably a parent. If a parent is not available another family member who has good knowledge of the client from childhood is acceptable.

Before the assessment meeting, I will send some questionnaires to you for you to complete and return to me. The assessment is carried out with your chosen relative and last 2-3. If your relative cannot attend with you, we could organise another time to speak face to face, via telephone or online.

The cost of an ADHD assessment with a comprehensive report and a follow session to discuss your report is: £1100

Please note: If you are diagnosed with ADHD and would like to try medication to help manage your symptoms, it is necessary to have a consultation with a psychiatrist with expertise in ADHD. You will not require another assessment, but your psychiatrist and GP will create a ‘shared care agreement’ to prescribe and monitor your ADHD medication so that you can have an NHS prescription.

ASD

An ASD assessment involves an interview (with additional tasks/activities) with the client and a separate interview with a caregiver from infancy, preferably a parent. If a parent is not available another family member who has good knowledge of the client from early childhood is acceptable.

Before the assessment meeting, I will send some questionnaires to you for you to complete and return to me. The client assessment last approximately 2 hours and the developmental assessment with your relative lasts 2-3 hours.

I can offer onlineclient assessments under extenuating circumstances, as it is preferable to carry out these assessments face-to-face. If your relative cannot attend a face-to-faceinterview with me, I can offer onlineand telephone assessment interviews.

The cost of an ASD assessment with a comprehensive report and a follow up session to hand over your report is: £1500
